From the Dean
I realize that you hear from ASU a lot during the year, often as a request for a contribution to one very worthwhile fund or another. Relax. This is not a solicitation. It is a thank you note.
To you who serve as unofficial ambassadors for the college in the Valley and beyond.
To you who generously offer your time and talents to benefit the college. My hat is off to the founding members of our alumni chapter.
To you who exemplify the good and important work we do here. There’s the fashion editor at Glamour magazine, the medical animator at Barrow Neurological Institute, the soprano with the New York Metropolitan Opera, the principal at Wood Oaks Junior High School in Northbrook, Ill., the director of music at First United Methodist Church in Fort Collins, Colo., the actor who plays a good cop in “Analyze That,” the dancer with the Doug Elkins Dance Company, the assistant dean of our college. And the list goes on.
We appreciate all you do.

J. Robert Wills, Dean
