The Arts, Media and Engineering program is a distinct hybridization of arts-media-engineering courses and research assistantships for graduate students exploring theory and practice of arts, media and engineering. The program is co-sponsored by the Herberger College of the Arts and Fulton School of Engineering.

AME focuses on the study and development of experiential media systems that integrate computation and digital media with the physical-human experience to produce enhanced physical-digital experiences.

AME concentrations have been created within the graduate programs of seven core disciplines: Computing and Informatics, Electrical Engineering, Dance, Design, Music, Theatre and Film, and Visual Art.

AME concentrations are offered through graduate programs in Herberger College core disciplines: Art, Dance, Music, and Theatre and Film.
