Employee Services: Computer Support

The Herberger College of the Arts Customer Support (HCACS) team provides multiple computing services to the college for all its faculty, staff and students.  HCACS also acts as the college's liaison to the main University Technology Office (UTO) for other shared and university-wide computing services and infrastructure. We provide for the use of Herberger College of the Arts computing and network resources, wherever they may be located throughout the college.

Services:

  • Assist with desktop computers
  • Install/upgrade software/hardware
  • Troubleshoot network, software and hardware problems
  • Support database development
  • Manage audio Podcast facility

Goals:

  • Provide customer-friendly service that supports the college in an efficient manner
  • Use IT infrastructure to deliver better acquisition and improve presentation of information
  • Enable rapid exchange of data, audio and video while maintaining system security
  • Provide visibility through collaboration with other colleges
