Arcadia Residential Community for Design and the Arts
Arcadia Residential Community for Design and the Arts is an academic community housed in a residence hall specifically designed for students who are pursuing a major in Architecture, Art, Dance, Film, Graphic Design, Housing and Community Development, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, Music or Theatre.
This academic community provides a living community for high-achieving freshman in our college who share a love for and commitment to design and the arts. There are several social and academic activities sponsored by the colleges throughout the year to enhance residents' educational experience. A limited number of spaces are available to sophomore students. The criteria to reside in the arts residential community are:
A graduating high school senior; or current ASU freshman within the College of Design or the Herberger College of the Arts at the time of application.
A cumulative high school G.P.A. of 3.0 or above; or an ASU G.P.A. of 2.7 or above.
Must have satisfied all applicable university/college entrance requirements.
Must be accepted into a major in the Herberger College of the Arts or the College of Design.
Students pursuing a minor in the College of Design or the Herberger College of the Arts or participating in a design or arts programs will also be considered pending space availability.

All interested students must complete the application process prepared by the Office of Residential Life and indicate the Arcadia Residential Community for Design and the Arts as their selected community.
