Herberger College Scholarships and Fellowships
The Herberger College of the Arts administers the following scholarships and fellowships. This list includes general arts as well as discipline-specific scholarships and fellowships.

Arizona Community Foundation Scholarship
A scholarship competition for first-time freshman graduating from an Arizona high school. Selected on the basis of artistic and academic merit determined by a selection committee: U.S. citizen and legal resident of Arizona; high school senior; rank in top 5 percent of class or 3.25 GPA; or score 1150 on SAT or 25 on ACT. Claudia F. Higgins Memorial
Scholarship
For female students in Herberger College of the Arts – rotating award among recipients from Art, Dance, music therapy, and Theatre. Graduate or undergraduate. Financial need a consideration. Renewable if criteria are maintained, but renewal not automatic.
DuBois Foundation Scholarship
Rotates annually between academic disciplines in order of Dance, Theatre,
Music and Art; full-time undergraduate with minimum 2.5 GPA or graduate
student with minimum 3.0 GPA; financial need required; letter of recommendation
and interview.
Eirene Peggy Lamb Fellowships
Gifted graduate student; financial need; 3.0 GPA
Fine Arts General Scholarship
Undergraduate or graduate award made by the dean of the college upon
the recommendation of school and department chairs.
Herberger College of the Arts Alumni Chapter
Scholarship
Undergraduate student; acceptable GPA for ASU admission; full-time
enrollment. Learn more
Katherine K. Herberger Scholarship/Fellowship
Graduate and undergraduate scholarship; no financial need; 3.0 GPA;
demonstrates excellence in creative/research work. Graduate fellows available
for entering incoming students; must be admitted into MFA or BFA prior
to being given award.
Kieckhefer Arts Research Award
Support for research and creative activity
for PhD students in the Herberger College.
Public Events Scholarship
“Preference to minority students;” alternates between Dance
and Theatre and Film annually.
Seymour L. Rosen Scholarship
U.S. citizen (Arizona resident preferred); undergraduate or graduate;
must be in good standing with minimum 3.0 GPA Award recognizes outstanding
artistic ability and service.
Sun Angel Scholarships
Rotates between Dance and Theatre (even years) and Music and Art (odd
years). Must be an Arizona resident, undergraduate, with minimum 3.0
GPA, and demonstrated financial need.
